After graduating from York University with a Business Administration degree, Jay’s career began in retail banking as an Advisor for CIBC Private Wealth. From 2000-2007, Jay worked at Altamira Investment Services. Working at Altamira provided Jay with the opportunity to learn the inner workings of the asset management business: Operations, Marketing, Product, Investment Management and as a member of the Executive Team where he was responsible for Corporate Strategy. After leaving Altamira in 2007, Jay spent over a decade with AGF Management Limited in many roles including Head of Product, Head of Marketing and Head of Business Solutions. Jay was integral to the launch of AGF’s ETF platform in 2016. Since 2017, Jay has been running a consulting firm focused on supporting wealth and investment management shops.
Jay Bhutani joined Raintree Wealth Management as President in April of 2022. Jay brings 25+ years of experience in investment and wealth management to his role.
