Peter Kinkaide, CFA, is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Raintree Wealth, bringing more than two decades of experience in corporate finance, capital markets and wealth management. Since joining Raintree in 2012, he has led the creation of its portfolio management, corporate finance, and insurance businesses. Under his leadership, the organization has grown to more than $1 billion in assets under administration. He directs Raintree Wealth’s business strategy and investment approach, building an independent platform that brings together public and private market investing while supporting advisors in growing their practices and serving their clients.
Before joining Raintree Wealth, Peter served as Vice President and Director at MNP Corporate Finance and as an Associate Director with Baker Tilly in London, UK, advising businesses on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions. He graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. His commitment to creating opportunity extends into the community as founder and director of Women + Wealth, a nonprofit organization that celebrates women’s achievements, advances gender equality and supports charitable causes through its International Women’s Day galas.
